Chapter 2 Introduction

Your new scan tool provides On-board Diagnostic (OBD) trouble codes and datastream

information for electronic vehicle control systems. The scanner also graphs live data parameters,

records vehicle data, clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from the electronic control module

(ECM), and resets the vehicle malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
